Birth has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. Long before I became a mother, I knew it was something I was deeply passionate about. But after experiencing birth myself, that passion grew into a calling.

Becoming a mother also showed me just how important childbirth education truly is. When women understand their options and have evidence-based information, they are better equipped to make decisions that are right for themselves and their families. My goal is never to make choices for you, it’s to help you feel informed, empowered, and supported every step of the way.

It is an incredible privilege to walk alongside women during one of the most transformative moments of their lives. As your doula, I’m here to provide compassionate support, encourage informed consent, and help you feel confident in whatever birth journey is right for you.

I believe every woman deserves to feel respected, informed, and empowered throughout her birth experience.

There is no single "right" way to give birth. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, choosing an epidural, preparing for an induction, scheduling a cesarean birth, or simply taking things one step at a time, my role is not to make decisions for you, it's to support the decisions that are right for you.

I value evidence-based education, informed consent, and open communication. I believe that when families understand their options, they can approach birth with greater confidence and peace of mind. Every birth story is different, and I am honored to support yours without judgment, pressure, or expectation.

What does a birth doula do?
A birth doula provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and shortly after birth. My role is to help you feel prepared, supported, and confident while working alongside your medical team, not replacing them.

When should I hire a doula?
Most families hire a doula during the second trimester, but it's never too early, or too late, to reach out. The earlier we begin working together, the more time we have to prepare for your birth.

Do I still need a doula if I'm getting an epidural?
Absolutely. Doulas support all types of births. Even with pain medication, you'll still benefit from continuous support, guidance, comfort measures, and someone focused solely on you and your partner throughout labor.

Do I need a doula for a scheduled cesarean birth?
Absolutely. A planned cesarean birth is still a birth, and having a doula can provide valuable emotional, physical, and informational support throughout the experience. I'll help you prepare beforehand, support you and your partner leading up to surgery, advocate for your birth preferences whenever possible, and be there to help you process your birth and transition into the early postpartum period. My goal is to help you feel informed, calm, and supported every step of the way.

Will you support my partner too?
Yes! My goal is never to replace your partner but to help them feel confident and involved. I guide them in ways they can support you while also giving them reassurance throughout the birth process.

What if my birth doesn't go according to plan?
Birth can be unpredictable, and that's okay. I'll continue supporting you through unexpected changes, helping you understand your options and advocating for informed communication so you can make decisions with confidence.​
